It kinda bugs me that everyone's all "Oh, this is cute! Funny! I love it!" and there are pretty much no comments about the song itself. I ignore the video because I feel it doesn't match the song very well at all, and would prefer to just enjoy the very...bittersweet song. I just think it's odd that no one else has commented saying that when it's been played nearly 30,000 times.
@MusicxBookFreak I agree somewhat, because I read the lyrics before I heard the song or watched the video. However, they are Swedes and their attitudes toward sex are different (I'm American, and male). The video indicates she got over her teenage trauma and moved on as an adult.
@MusicxBookFreak Actually, the video really fits the song. "X Telling me..." is about losing your virginity, and the video is pretty much about four boys trying to seduce a girl. The boys are doing something that they're not really good at (dancing), but they do their best... and in the end she goes away and leaves them alone. We've all been through that situation when we were 16 (and now i'm 28 and still living that jajaja)
@mennivetvadjagmenar I kinda see the video as ironic. It's not a perfect correlation, but it seems to me that she's using them in the video like she was used in the song. Annika's introducing these men to the dance, making them self-conscious, telling them they're not doing it right. Then it ends after the show where she just puts on her coat and walks out without a word, and they're left wondering what they're supposed to do now.
I enjoy this song, but I never would have guessed that it would be the single. I realize that the singles are probably pre-picked, but if you are planning on releasing another for "More Modern Short Stories," I would love to see a video to "Overall".
Det här är genialt!

Haha, I thought this video was so cute and funny. And Annika is annoyingly beautiful.
