@000kings000 Before I got Gremmy, I visited the breeder and saw how wonderful her cats were treated. Gremmy's dad is a melanistic (black) jungle cat and he looked very well taken care of, as was Gremmy's mother. Please don't generalize all cats' treatments based on what you read online.
@94grapevine94 Right now Gremmy's height from the floor to the tips of his ears is 19.5 inches. His height from the floor to his shoulders is 14.5 inches. He may still grow for another year, but probably not much.
She's great. We have a 2-year-old 62.5% boy who's been just amazing - though more of a handful than yours. There's no way we could have given him a bath without having an ambulance waiting outside :-)
He's 75% Jungle Cat and 25% domestic cat (Abyssinian). The breed is called chausie, but usually "chausie" is used in later generations without so much wild blood.
@samANDjuliaDOTcom wouldn't that make for a dangerous house pet? like my domestic cast could put a hurting on you. i am not making a judgment i have just never heard of these cats.
@judyluvsnoel JC hybrids are definitely not for everyone. They are very active, somewhat more destructive than pure domestics, and unpredictable around strangers. We don't have children and when we have house guests we are very careful to make sure they guests do not try to play with him if he's not in a playing mood and don't corner him. But usually he's very playful and will play with cat wands that our guests wave around for him. The other times he hides from strangers.
@samANDjuliaDOTcom thanks. i kind of thought they might play a little ruff. when i lived in NY as a teenager I would walk the woods almost every day and ended up with a pet wolf. even tho it was very friendlly he would get defensive for me if he saw anyone else or another animal. he fought a wild dog that went after me and tore it up. that was why i was wondering if your cat still had some wildness. your cat sounds like a fascinating pet to have. it is very beautiful.

@judyluvsnoel
it was probably a stray husky type dog considering wolves have not lived in New York for over 100 years.
