I have to say that I have heard about this but never in this much detail. At the age of 16y/o (1993) my mom took me to the clinic (not Planned Parenthood) and had a noraplant placed in my arm; in 1998 I had it removed. To this day I have never been pergnant. I use to always tell people I felt it was the norplant. After watching these videos I have no doubt in my mind that I am a victim. I never really checked into my fertility because I was a single woman in college.

There was no comment about eugenics only being for blacks. The point is that the end of the slave trade and the demographic "problem" that resulted was the impetus for the creation of eugenics, which later broadened to encapsulate other minority groups. Blacks were central of this philosophy and the resulting policies that took hold, and they are still the primary target, regardless of how many "majorities" happen to suffer at the same hands.

The film does not state that slavery was borne of eugenics, but that eugenics was born after the end of slavery. The haphazard introduction of blacks into white-Anglo society and the resulting impoverishment was falsely attributed to "feeblemindedness" and being of a "poor genetic stock", discounting entirely the effects cultural annihilation and the destruction of dignity. In this sense, eugenics was a black phenomenon, though it is clearly broader now.
