  • LOL, I saw the time jump after your splitter was finished working. 6 minutes had jumped forward. I agree. It really shouldn't take that long. What was the issue, because that seems clearly like a bug to me?

  • @AlexFolland If it is a bug, it has to do with ffmpeg, which is what the backend of this program is. I wrote none of the underlying software, I just wrote a GUI to make it easier to use. ffmpeg has given me the same issue occasionally as well, but usually it splits the videos quite fast.

  • @Bj0rn248 Of course I understand that. Also, just so you know, I wasn't laughing at you, but was laughing at ffmpeg. :) Ffmpeg has some strange issues I've seen recently, but that one is the oddest. Normally when it fails, it just gives an error and stops. Taking a long time for such a simple task is cuckoo land!

  • does this support 5.1 audio? and if not is that something that you would like to implement?

  • @11tyleragent11 I can implement 5.1 in future versions yes. Once I start working on it again I plan on adding batch capability first, then audio settings second.

  • great tut man

  • Thats realy impressive. Good job man.
