it says on edmunds they hav a 3.5l v6 but im confused can some american explain somthing. How come that big heavy engine only makes 211 bhp when in europe we have 2.0 liter car that can make that power and do twice the mpg. Also the SS model has 303 bhp. Thats cr&p for a 5.3 v8 !!! And it's front wheel drive. Wots the point of having 303 bhp in a front wheel drive car. Have chevy heard of torque steer!!

4.6L, actually. But you're right, the gas mileage is an issue. They've been getting into using the Chargers up in Ontario, a combination of RWD and more fuel efficiency.

yea they use the Chargers here down in Florida too, but ive only seen them as undercover. and there was this really nice charger cop, light blue, spoiler, custom rims, and i think it was an SRT-8 real nice. but im suprised that the Charger is more fuel effecient than the crown vics. the impala isnt much better either. only a 3.4L V6 and only 19mpg city? dat sucks. but then again, my favorite car, Subaru STi whihc has a H4 engine is the same mpg as the impala, but it has turbo so maybe that's y

the only good thing about the impala is the sound of the engine. and my friend's impala, he has the twin turbo 3.4L v6 version and his takes off pretty quick, and wen he accelerates hard it feels like we was going 100mph, but when i looked at the spedometer it was only 40mph.
