This is slightly relevant to the Rex toy, it's a shame that the T-Rex was portrayed as such an amazingly powerful King of the dinosaurs.. When really it was just a scavenger that lived off other's kills... Disappointing, isn't it?

Aww, poor Rex! I love that really sweet personality they gave him in the movies. It's ironic indeed that he's such a nervous and sensitive guy when he could easily be the most intimidating toy in the place, but I think it really was a great idea to imagine him this way. It makes the character more interesting and lovable. He's definitely my favorite one! ^_^

I wish the Collection version Rex had an opening jaw like in the movie. I'm guessing there must be some kind of limitation with making the hinge on Rex's lower jaw open downward, but it's still a shame that no Rex toy has ever been able to open his mouth wide like you'd expect a t-rex to do.

@GodzillaGeek Yeah.. it is stopping me from purchasing these. I really wanted to purchase the exact same toys in the movie, but they've got issues. Rex's jaw is wrong, and then also so is Woody's (the doll in the movie has a closed mouth - yet the one you buy has an open mouth). I wonder if they're ever going to be able to make the 'exact' toys as in the movie.

There's another version of Rex out that has no electronics. I think that one is actually the most accurate version of Rex, despite the fact that the electronic one is advertised to be.

Listen to the first six seconds of this video. Doesn't that music sound familiar? It is VERY similar to Randal Boggs' theme from Monsters, Inc. (Heck, it's practically the same melody, possibly transposed.) That leads me to believe that Randy Newman wrote the music capping the intros and outros of these videos.
