This ignited so many things that people had believed for years in America but never had the platform to say. I never understood how much this changed everything until years later. I was only 8 years old when this happened.
Luckily Judge Glass remanded him to custody upon his guilty verdict in Vegas, otherwise, we would've probably seen another Bronco chase on the day of his sentencing.
He was never going to kill himself... He was trying to get to Mexico, then he thought if I act suicidal it will not look like I was running.. Funny part is the fact that he and Al Cowlings owned the same Ford Bronco... sort of gay!
@gmjssc yeah, people getting killed and they want to be there you know, disturbing the police etc., they´re only thinking about themselves hate that kind of people
I think this chase was probably the best admission of his guilt. If he was truly innocent, why all this spectacle? He would have had his attorneys & pr people take care of this and that would be it and he wouldn't have acted bizarrely. If this chase spectacle was only for the simple fact he didn't want to go to jail even though he knew he didn't murder anybody, then he was a real coward, because if he was 100% innocent, I'm sure his attorneys would not have let him spend even one day in jail.
@calchick82 This chase was more than enough proof that he was guilty. He never even claimed anyone framed him. If that's out the window, then why the hell are you running away?
The crisis worker on the phone is a real pro. I use to work on a suicide line and after 20 minutes of begging the person to NOT take their life you start to get annoyed.
