  • I wish his torso locked in better, but overall he is a good character.

  • Hound was my first Transformer ever in 1985. Now I wanna find that one.

  • ravage is a Jaguar.

  • o rly? i always thought ravage was a puma or cougar?

  • me too

  • There's a G1 Season 1 episode where Ravage is stalking Hound.

  • He reminds me a lot of one of the animated toys in level of detail. Oh well, I may still get him.

  • You keep returning to the complaint that he is "not a jeep", even though the figure is based off the Jeep Hurricane.

  • It's cos it's not the beat-up old-ass jeep people remember. I prefer this one, I think the figure is very close to being a Animated figure in terms of how cartoony his alt mode is and the general design

  • hound and ravage are together in one of the first few episodes of G1

  • transformation remind anyone else of sideswipe or sunstreaker? also the shoulder cannon?

seems like he needs another paint app or so

  • do u think i should get hound or cyclonous

  • cyclonous definetly hound is good but cyclonous has a better transformation and more detail

  • Got to love this new hound he's a great remake!

  • i picked this figure up earlier in the week and i love it! ravage is definitely a plus too!

  • I'll be getting either this guy or the legends version (not to mention the other classics legends)

  • That hound figure kinda... sucks.

And wtf is with the arm difference from the package. And why for gods sake couldn't hasbro just use a better shade of green?

if it wasn't for ravage having a laserbeak head(wtf?) I'd pick this up just for ravage.

  • good review on hound and ravage.

i like the way you do it coz you're not biased just coz you pick a figure up. HOnest opinion is vital to a reviewer.

i must agree that ravage looks way better than the original g1 release. spread legs as against the original thin stanced.

hound, even the binaltech ones still looks bland. he's an average figure also. so, yeah..i would recommend this to g1 fans and fans of the character.

    5 stars

  • This is actually one of my favorite figures of 2008. The vehicle mode is super clean, the seats turning into the upper legs is pretty slick, the colors are great, they got the single star in the right place (the toon only had one star, though the autobot symbol is missing on the left front). The bot mode is very clean as well. My only complaint is with the gun not staying on the shoulder. Good review, I am one of those biased you mention. :)

  • Great Review Except this is one of the Best Deluxes and I love the Detail on it. It's one of the must haves in my opinion.

  • this figure doesnt fit in with the other univ. figs IMO, it looks a little animated with the curling legs and plain head, but still, very g-one-ee

  • Very nice figure and very reminiscent of the original G1 Hound.

  • there is am episode in g1 where hound captures Ravage. and that is why Ravage is packsged with Hound

  • Hahaha I just found that out when I watched the first 3 episodes It was one of those first episodes. I think.

  • please stop ptting reviews of this guy up, i want him so badly aswell as the henkei version for the paints apps. and coolguy567 is right

  • apparently there was a g1 episode were hound captures ravage and this toy reflects that episode. also g1 ravages rockets are suppose to fit into this ravage in the cassette holds.

  • but how do you get the gun to stick in the vehicle mode

  • I got this yesterday, but Im gonna take it back and get animated swindal
