I trust my attributions are complete. Your clip does not really suit my purposes because that license is too restrictive - I am trying to keep to CC-BY only so people can use mine.
@SamuelEllmer Oh my gosh. Your video is brilliant! I absolutely love it. ;) I am planning on doing a recycling claymation for class and this really got me inspired. Thanks!
@MunchySeedsGal There's nothing nicer to hear than someone being inspired by something you've created! So thank you :D
On the subject of how I made it; I used stop motion animation technique. Specifically using the software FrameByFrame. I'm not sure if it's only available for Mac, but if you DO have a Mac, then great! Because it's free!
@MunchySeedsGal To be honest, you don't even need special software. What stop-motion animation involves is taking a photo, moving the object slightly, then taking another photo. When you've finished this process, you play the photos in a sequence at a certain frame rate (the frame rate is how many frames per second are played. The more frames per second (fps), the smoother the video will look. A frame, would be a photo).
Amazing!

@SamuelEllmer You have typed thast it is commons licensed, but in fact it is not - it is a standard youtube license- no loss to me either way
bedpanner 5 months ago
@bedpanner So you're talking about me allowing the video to be used by others, so they can put their own music over it?
SamuelEllmer 5 months ago
@SamuelEllmer you have already done that and written CC BY-NC-SA
The standard youtube license prevents that being realized (ie. nobody can use it)
Perhaps another option is to post it somewhere the other CC options are available, like internet archive for example.
Hey I am not a copyright lawyer, just a mash up artist and yes I mix other peoples stuff with their permission- I enjoy it.
It is a good cause too.

@SamuelEllmer get rid of nine inch nails, remix with some creative commons music and post under a CC license ?
bedpanner 5 months ago
@bedpanner I'm not really following what'd be gained from doing this?

@SamuelEllmer Oooooo!
Thats so unfortunate.
I do not have a Mac.
I'll check out if it is available for PC also. But i sort of doubt it.
But thanks anyways. :) Again, it was really amazing.

It's pretty much like making a flip book :)

@SamuelEllmer Awesome. Well I tried a few weeks ago making stop-motion.
I sort of Failed at it because i was trying to take frames with me Incorporated in them and didn't have anyone to take the pictures.
I pretty much taped my camera to something tall and relied on my four year old sister to press the button to take the pictures.
Yeah, that didn't go as planned. Lol. :)
But thanks i am going to try again with better assistance this time. Hehe.
