Eric88ing if you have more footage of CHoy style wing chun please put it up on youutbe ^_^ maybe some partner drills that we can see,, like for instance in Yipman's there is the lap sao drills and single stickyhand, double sticky hands etc...would love to see how the Choy family practice their drills/exercises with partners. i've seen some footage but its only the siu nim tao and dummy forms but no partner drills T_T..thanks and Respect
The Choy Family should send someone to indonesia and teach their wing chun ^_^ i would LOVE to learn their style,,i am from Yip man's lineage but i would love to learn Choy family style...one of the most original untouch wing chun style is the Choy family!!One day i will go to KL and study the Choy family's wing chun ^_^ Much Love and Respect
If it works why not? And one of the instructor I hear has both Yip Man and Yip Kin Wing Chun experiences. Won't people get more and wider references there?
HELLO,THIS IS HUNG GAR WENG CHUN(洪家永春,NOT IS WING CHUN KUNG FU(叶问咏春),MAN...iN KL HAS SIFU SIMON HEW,GR BRANDON CHAN,OR KOTA DAMANSARA TEACHING THE IP MAN WING CHUN ,(叶问咏春)
Used to have one at Pudu but I don't know if it's there or they have shifted. It's just upstairs from my auditor's office. I did WC when I was a kid back in the 70's. My grand dad taught me and he's from futshan.
I don't teach Wing Chun. LOL. I do know the basics like Sil Lim Tao and etc. The whole system, I don't remember as my grand dad pass away when I was 8 years old. You can actually kick a lot of ass if you know your basics. Tested and proven. Why now? You saw the Yip Man movie huh?
I've done 18 years of Yip Kin Wing Chun and 2 years of various Yip Man Wing Chun including what Yip Man taught in Fatshan. I just wanna compare and see different perspectives.
i know this teacher. Nice guy. Has a unique '2 hand' form of wooden dummy. and an extra wing chun form:) In total it is said there are actually a few more forms out there. but hong kong popularised the 3 we know of today.
That is the real Sifu Yip Fook Choy :-)
