@chanchungleong Hello! I´m from Brazil... i want to buy this Tamyia Scania with MFC-01. I have futaba 7CHP because i fly helicopters and airplanes. Do you know if my radio works well with Scania r620? Where did you buy your model? Thank´s!
@brenocampana You can probably make your 7CHP although I cannot advise you on the specific settings since I do not own a 7CHP myself. If the Futaba has similar dual rate switches as my Spektrum then there shouldn't be a reason why it wouldn't work. My truck was purchased in Hong Kong and hand-carried back.
@NoddyBlair Six channels, sir. I use all six of them - four on the basic truck functions, one for controlling the rotating beacon, and one for controlling my motorized ramp on my trailer
kinda have some difficulty believing you since since spektrum says in their forum that quote: "We have learned there is an issue with the Tamiya MFUs that cause them to not work properly with certain radios. The underlying issue, as we’ve been told, is that the MFU is not compatible with radios that utilize digital sub-trims. Unfortunately all Spektrum radios have digital sub-trims, as will the radios that the Module Systems are compatible with. At this time there is no known work-around. "
@kafgeo12345 So is this confirmed? I was thinking of getting this exact Spektrum radio like the one featured on this video, but if it's going to cause problems with the Tamiya MFC, I'm having second thoughts.
@michaelcabrera yes it will work with some fiddling about with the radio.i have managed to make it work on a dx6i as well as an 8ch airtronics radio.(cant remember the model, its a friends radio)it does work though.it seems weird to me as well that spektrum got it wrong.
@kafgeo12345 I'm surprised that Spektrum doesn't understand how their radio interfaces with the MFU. My Spektrum DX6i works with three different Tamiya tank MFUs as well as my truck MFC. The key issue is to activate your dual rate settings for aileron, rudder, and elevator, 0 position is 66 and 1 position is 100. Have all your dual rate switches set at 0 position and run through your MFU/MFC configuration. To activate special functions simply involves activating dual rate and moving the sticks.
@chanchungleong thanks for the reply,u are right.after some fiddling around with the radio i managed to get it working.works with an airtronics 8ch as well.spektrum are full of shit :-)

The truck itself was about 350 usd.everything you see here brings it closer to 700 usd, which is the MFC-01 and Spektrum DX6i radio.

@chanchungleong how much you paid for the ''controller'' or how it is called in english? And do i need anything else to get it to work correctly?

Yeah, I figured out the sequence - left stick: up-down-left-right, hold trainer plug and turn off the radio while scratching your nose.
