The reason he/she was allowed entry into UK is that she from Canada - a developed country on top of that she is White. Just imagine a scenario if she was brown and from south Asia but with exactly the same story and same attitude do you really think she would be allowed to enter into UK? Not at all. The boarder force are not bigots, one of the factors the boarder officers take into account when deciding too grant entry or not is the person's likelyhood of returning to their own country after their visa expires, if you were a boarder force officer and a single woman from Iraq turns up to passport control with all her belongings to meet a 'friend' with just the equivalent of $10, you know they probably had no intention of going home after their stay.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan are all war zone fucked up countries. I think the UK has a very stupid immigration system, I came to London to study at University and when i graduated I invited my mum and dad to come to my graduation cermoney and so it was so disappointing because neither my mum or dad had £15000 saved in their account for 6 months.
My parents meant to come here for 4 days only for my graduation. It was stupid and I hated the day of my graduation and the immigration rules.
