The repubs seem to like to blame the last congress for all of the economic problems. Even if I agreed they were the cause it does not change the fact that repubs have only one idea to solve problems: cut taxes. Even Ronald Reagan gave up on that. The repubs at least part of the reason for the problem and none of the solution.
Part of the problem with the question is that it is accusatory rather than inquisitive. Really, it could be answered "yes, my budget will triple the national debt" or "no, it won't." The president's response is in frustration with the aim of the question, because it is fairly clearly attempting to apportion blame, rather than solve any problems.
Ok, if everyone is done with the name-calling, will someone go look up the facts of what he is talking about? Clearly, in obvious Democrat fashion, you aren't interested in facts. Under the Democrat congress, the deficit was tripled. Under Obama AND the Democrat congress, the deficit will triple and spending will go to 24.5% of GDP. Sound wrong? Go to the CBO website. The repubs seem to like to blame the last congress for all of the economic problems. Even if I agreed they were the cause it does not change the fact that repubs have only one idea to solve problems: cut taxes. Even Ronald Reagan gave up on that. The repubs at least part of the reason for the problem and none of the solution.

Part of the problem with the question is that it is accusatory rather than inquisitive. Really, it could be answered "yes, my budget will triple the national debt" or "no, it won't." The president's response is in frustration with the aim of the question, because it is fairly clearly attempting to apportion blame, rather than solve any problems.

Under the Democrat congress, the deficit was tripled. Under Obama AND the Democrat congress, the deficit will triple and spending will go to 24.5% of GDP. Sound wrong? Go to the CBO website. Look it up. I did. Again, Obama needs to stop fingerpointing and lead the country.

There is very little "presidential" about this man. He spends the entire time NOT answering the question, absolving himself of responsibility and blaming anyone he can. He is a poor leader, demonstrates very few leadership qualities and has seemingly spent his time as president in the limelight the media has painted for him. I think we should all agree to memama2 because republicans do have the ability to fix the economy in the similar way they stabilized the economy in the decade of 2000 especially after inheriting a budget surplus they had from the 90s. I think it was not bill Clinton who fixed the economy in the 90s after the great era of Reaganomics.

Down play it to your own peril. These are all solid hardcore BLUE states, and Obama came out for all 3 and all three times he got his ass handed to him. Otherwise he would never have shown up for this meeting and you know it. So if nothing else, it proves that Obama's "personal popularity" is a sham.
