Tomda, I was the writer for this campaign and part of a 4-person creative team which included the uber-talented editor Chris Chynoweth. The song we chose was AM Radio by Everclear, and it was used for this campaign to create two 60-second commercials, one of which ran on both the Oscars and the Grammys. Shortly after creating these, GM moved its advertising account to a different agency, despite the fact that the campaign got great writeups and won best tv commercial of the year.

I agree with firefoureffect, this should have gotten a lot more air time! As a Chrysler employee I hate to say it, but this commercial has always been one of my favorites. When I first saw it on tv I got choked up. I'm a fan of anything that plays up the rich history of AMERICAN automakers.
