  • I have been thinking of getting an slr107fr - any coments for or against these types of ak's? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  • What is the muzzle velocity of this weapon?

  • @ 1st I thought that I made a mistake buying this gun but now I feel really good about my purchase. I know now that there were others in my boat too... to bad for the co. that so much negative lite has has shown on it . The gun is quality but the gunsmiths / Q.C. who are putting these together need to get canned . Bad for business to have so many people return guns to be fixed .

  • had to send my slr 107f back to arsenal because both the front and gas block site was canted the opposite one another ... the lady at the place seems to have here hands full as they are a small company. I had words with her over her lack of record keeping ... I got it back and it is a real pleasure to shoot now... it was hard for me to hit at 50 yds before the repair...now I am having great success standing up and shooting 1 shot per second with accuracy that is so good I may never use optics

  • what would you have to do to mount a suppressor on it?

  • Needs more full auto ;-)

  • NICE!

I like the triangle stocks a lot better than the factory solids.

What kinda accuracy are you getting out of it?

  • No muzzle brake on it and Arsenal never got back to me. Oh well. The lady that answered the phone told me something about how us "internet people" always come up with things. Great way to talk down to your customer base huh?

I am going to invest in a Bulgarian 4 piece flash hider as the muzzle flash and noise to the sides is pretty ridiculous.

  • go to K-VAR site for that

  • So Arsenal treated you like crap? Tell that lady that US internet people on the ones that keep the lights on at Arsenal.

  • @CheesePatrol Ive heard that Arsenals "customer service" sucks. Thats why I am doing a Saiga conversion myself, so I wont have to pay their ridiculous prices, and deal with their Century Arms like customer service.

  • where the fuck is the muzzle break

  • thats the beer can type brake, if im not mistaken. It's meant to direct the blast forward and away from the shooter as well as increase back pressure to increase available gas for cycling.

  • Maybe try squeezing the trigger instead of yanking on it next time

  • Good grief, I had sold myself on the SLR-106CR but now I am having second thoughts. I guess Arsenal isn't what they used to be...

  • That thing could turn night into day! Cool video!

  • Very nice. The triangle folder looks better on a krink than the solid folder. Provided my SLR-107UR test fires OK, I'll be SBR'ing it too. Was it difficult to open up the gas port?

  • I sent it to Chris at AK-USA and he chopped down the barrel, opened up the gas port, fixed the canted sight, and did the engraving. I have to warn you though, my barrel has an off center bore so if I put on one of the old school flash suppressors, the bullets strike the inside. I've contacted Arsenal and I'm awaiting a response

  • Good luck with them. I'm still waiting on my SLR-106CR and SLR-106UR to be returned. The muzzle of my SLR-107UR appears to be centered. I'm hoping it's the same at the point where the barrel would need to be cut.

  • Do you have an update on the response that you got from Arsenal?
