im german and my english isnt't very good but i understand her perfectly. And i think it's better for improving your understanding skills listening to original spoken english.
mais oui pleasing to the ear indeed. apparently you understood me afterall. that to say as much is a subjective experience i assumed went without saying. assumptions can be so misleading, non?
Just as you can't say that one style of music sounds better than another style ... it's just a matter of personal taste. If you don't think it sounds good - then it doesn't, to you. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so. btw Don't you mean euphonious?
i'm not going to refute something i've never said thedailyenglishshow. the 'good or bad' interpretation of my comment is a value judgement entirely of your own making.
perhaps before policing my use of the term 'euphoniest' it might help if you clarify my meaning before you impose your own interpretation. the use of language is down to personal style and taste afterall. non?
I am an American and can understand her pretty well. There are so many dialects in English; who's to say that one is "better" than another? She's not about to change the way she speaks English (and has been speaking English for 27 years) for anybody's sake. If her students don't have a problem, neither should we native English speakers.
I am an American and I can barely understand your poor pronunciation. Please speak more sharply and distinctly for your students. They would greatly benefit from that improvement.
Poor pronunciaton? ROFLMFAO!!! I am a native English speaker so there is nothing wrong with my pronunciation. Perhaps you can't understand me because I have an unfamiliar accent. Have you ever left America? If you have trouble understanding me, I hate to think how you would get on understanding the millions of people in the world who speak English as a second language.
By the way, if you're looking for TEFL material - perhaps you should watch professionally made North American ESL videos. There are loads out there - and the actors speak very slowly and clearly. : )
Wow - you watched them all! : )My motivation? After teaching English for 5 years I want to try out a different style of language teaching. I also want to learn more about computers/the net/editing etc - and what better way to learn than to just try and make something. Thanks for watching and for the comments :)
My friends and I like to make up new ones for "wtf" like "wtp" (what the piss), "wtg" (what the god; mix of 'oh my god' and 'what the fuck'), "wtdes" (what the daily english show...ok maybe we don't say that!). My fiance actually says, "What the God" sometimes. We're really lame. :)
Have a great holiday, Sarah! Enjoy surfin' those waves.

Happy summer holiday^^ I just finished watching all the videos you've posted! It took quite a long time. haha
Your video is really well organized and interesting. But, I think it is a little bit difficult for biginners.
I am just wondering what makes you keep posting these Videos. Of course, it is really helpful for us, but what motivates you to do that???
