  • brilliant steve :)

  • nice! which tuning is this?

  • @icarusrohit

    thank you

.tuning before the capo is fitted DADGAD

  • @bennettskb555

I hate to be a know-it-all (actually I love it ;-)) But that isn't DADGAD my friend. That's open D (DADF#AD), which was Elmore's standard tuning (also used by Keith Richards on "Street Fighting Man", fact fans!)

Still, nitpicking aside, a very nice performance and tone. I really fancy one of those DC59s, and at less than 200 nicker it seems like a steal.

  • @llanbo

Your right of course, not a tuning I have used much.

    Thanks

    Steve

  • are danelectros quality quitars?

  • @guitarismysword1

Hi....Danelectro guitars are unconventional as they are made using unusual materials

including ply wood for the body frame. The guitars are made cheaply but offer good value for money

    and some unique sounds.

  • Nice one, pal.

  • @njuham

    Cheers

    Hi the guitar is a re-issue ;)

  • Is the guitar set p special for slide? Raised the action or similar?

  • @Bulletproof716

    Hi

Yes the Danelectro is set up with a slightly higher than normal action to enable clean slide.

  • Cool cover

  • @xamtheone

You're too kind. I'm reading the lyrics from my lap top beside me, but it is a great old song. Have you heard the John Mayall's Bluesbreakers version? If not, check it out, great Les Paul guitar from Eric Clapton.

    Take care

    Steve

  • @bennettskb555 I just listened to it and it's pretty nice too. Clapton is great as always :)
