The crucifixion of Jesus was a prophecy being fulfilled, Psalm 22 the whole chapter is a prophecy of the crucifixion.

This is more apparent, if you look just a bit further in Mt 10:33 and following. You will also notice verse 34 he may not have always been the "GREAT advocate of peace" as you previously mentioned.

God doesn't send any one to Hell or to suffer for all eternity. It's entirely our choice. If we don't believe in Him, and what His Son did for us on this cross, chances are, we'd chose to walk away from Him even if we did see Him, face to face, or if he did stretch out both of his arms to show us how much he loved us. It is our sin (mine too) that "foolishly" takes those loving arms and nails them one at a time to the cross. However, he loves us so much that he lets us do it. Lot of love!

However, I am trying to emphasize the Grace. Correction, the second statement isn't even entirely true. It doesn't matter if you stop sinning...that alone won't get you into heaven. You still have to "Choose" to accept what Christ did on the cross.

Sure, we should fear His Wrath, but we shouldn't forget to embrace His Love. I agree, there are, absolutely, consequences for sin, active and passive, direct and indirect. My faith isn't based on science, although I believe in science. True science doesn't fluctuate. True science (Truth) isn't "improved and refined over time" The whole point of the scientific method is that you can "duplicate" your actions. However, theories like "Evolution" have to be refined because parts were wrong in the first place. You claim you don't have "Faith", It seems your faith is stronger than mine, if you can accept theories as gospel.

This was possible because of my faith and belief in God. NOT religion. there was a time in my life tht i thought there was no God. Because of so much pain i was in.
