I am a black belt in TKD(Korea) and now doing some basic Muay thai(Thai) but especially for silat is a Malay martial art and starts during that Malacca Sultanate era, the chinese martial artist thought them how to fight and fend off the Thais. I got the impression that in the higher-levels of the martial art you learn about pressure points to such an extent that you can cause people pain with very little physical contact? @HalSamuel pencak silat has hundreds and hundreds of styles and forms. as in general in silat, from entry level to medium level, they will teach you physical techniques such as attacking,blocking,locking,spa­rring, self defence etc while sync with breathing technique too..then from medium level to highest level, they will concentrate more to breathing technique up to pressure points of the body which leads to breaking steels, blow off candle from distance to paralyze opponent with 1 touch.

I'd like to say that this guy's style has almost no flaws and from experience, he probably studied almost every form of silat and the reason for this very evolved variation of silat, let's just say it's his way of Bruce Lee's philosophy. One thing I do notice is that his techniques almost consist of trappings much like Kali and if you've seen any of the Bourne movies, it's almost similar.
