Its hard to move on when you have allegations being bought against you, by guys that you coach. It is one thing for the NCAA to investigate unabated, but for players to snitch about a rule that many schools violate is bad business. I do not think he will be able to survive. I have a suggestion. I definitely think that Michigan's next coach should be a proven head coach. Go to the coacheshotseat website and click on the link "Head Coaches Moving Up" on the left. It gives a list of coaches they feel are ready to move up. Anyone you wouldn't mind seeing come if Les Miles says no? I say Greg Schiano of Rutgers.
Actually, you are probably right about Schiano holding out for the Penn State job. Hey, he would probably be a good fit there. Not only is he a good coach, but, like JoePa, he is an italian/american from the New Jersey/New York area.

I have a suggestion. I definitely think that Michigan's next coach should be a proven head coach. Go to the coacheshotseat website and click on the link "Head Coaches Moving Up" on the left. It gives a list of coaches they feel are ready to move up. Anyone you wouldn't mind seeing come if Les Miles says no? I say Greg Schiano of Rutgers.

IMHO, after Carr leaves, the Michigan job will be LSU Coach Les Miles' if he wants it. A program like Michigan will want to try and keep it IN THE FAMILY. Les both played and coached at Michigan and Bo was his idol. Anyone agree with me?

I'm a huge Buckeye fan, but gained respect for Carr on that day. It was a stupid question, and wasted Carr's time. He was ahead I believe 21-0...against Ohio State's great defense in '03. It would have been a horrible idea to try to mvoe the ball. You don't question a coach's decision like that as a reporter.

Did you really just say that? He complained to the Big Ten after he heard that there was a Big Ten ref that was blind in one eye, which in turn led to tht ref being let go. They guy had officiate for a few years with one eye and there were no complaints. As others have said, he stomps his feet and pouts like a baby whenever scUM is falling behind.
