One of my friends brother was in the cabin where the boy died from the chimney. He was pinned under the door, which they say saved his life. I can't imagine the sheer hell they went through with this. Scared my family and my friend's family when we saw the news of this.

One time, When I lived in Dallas. I literally heard a tornado over me. My family ran into our closet and we heard VERY LOUD winds and it was awful! I was crying and praying that we would be ok. After like 20 minutes the wind stopped and the news said the tornado warning was gone. The next morning my friend who lived on the street right next to mine said it hit her street. And all my neighbors treese were knocked over and everything was just destroyed. :P

i feel for these familys that lost a loved one and i pray that they find peace somehow. But as for the camp grounds , i think they should have had at least an underground cellar or basemnt like pit/shelter at least especially knowing that we live an a tornado prone area, i just hope they construct a new grounds with an underground type shelter made especially for escaping a tornado so this never happens again

wait i dont get it...? arnt tornadoes rea;;y dangerous?? how did the camp kids and storm chasers get caught inside an were not harmed? thats a relief everyone was okay let me stress that!! but i just dont get it? was it not powerful enough to pick up the car? or the camp people?

Tornado behavior can be as unpredictable as a stormy sea. You never know WHAT will happen.

@monstabillz Somee cars are specifically designed and constructed & tested for things like this, thats why some don't get bothered (but maybe some glass smashed). But tornadoes are very unpredictable. You don't know what there going to do, where there going to go, or when they'll stop. Only god knows why, and everything happens for a reason.

im not too afraid of tornadoes but since i was little i always wanted to do it and hell it seems like fun

Storm Chasers are some of the only people who chase things knowing that if they ever catch it, they'll be killed. They would chase grizzly bears, but that's a little too difficult.
