why doesnt peyton not come to the wedding, like why do they make it like that in the show. what happened between brooke and peyton?

I liked this episode/scene because it shows that Brooke didn't forget about Peyton. Something I depise about tv shows, is how former characters are forgotten once they are written out of the series. It shows how solid Brooke's loyalty is to her childhood bestfriend. So I am glad that they EXPLAINED(in a later scene in this episode), just WHY Haley is NOW her bestfriend. I've always loved the friendship of Brooke and Haley. I feel it's more real and genuine. TOo much drama with Peyton.

@dena1220 Well said. When Lucas and Peyton left, it's only natural that Brooke and Haley became each other's best friend. And I, too, have always liked the Baley friendship more. :)
