As a lifetime fan of The Beach Boys, allow me to say 2 things here: 1. Bruce does a very nice job on this song, knowing as we all do that it was Carl's signature song. 2. Part time member? Bruce has been with the band so long he is an original. In fact he was there when Brian wasn't. The current line up IS!!! the Beach Boys no matter who is in the band. They perform the original songs like no other band they've ever toured with before. The arraignments sound just like the original recordings which they haven't in years!! Brain legally gave them the name! Your not a real Beach Boy fan since you don't like all configurations of the group so bye!!!!

Brian respected him and when brian came back around he still let bruce stay so he is an original! brian lasted 25 years as a beach boy before his solo career, bruce was 66 to still now so he can be counted
This proves nothing Carl had a great voice the best. But what exactly are they supposed to do stop touring or stop singing this song when people still want to hear it?
