I wish this hymn was played more often in church. It is usually played on Palm Sunday, and maybe on the Feast of Christ the King.

Beautiful anthem of the Church. As a child use to hear this played on a great pipe organ in the Methodist Church my family attended. Don't tell me children don't pay attention in services. It's been over 50 years and these hymns still stir my spirit.

Did you know that song has the same music as the alma mater song of the University of Memphis? They actually re-worded the church hymn in 1927. Words were done by John Brister, second president of the college.
