Now beat it without dark templars. I'd hardly call this winning, more like cheating but if it's in the game it's all fair. So good thinking, very strategic. I mean you didn't even upgrade, let alone macro very well and your apm was like 10.

for me this was the hardest mission of the entire game,even more than all-in , but i succeded in finish it in brutal but not with this strat.

I put 20 or so DTs with my main army and I don't make walls. When the overseers come I snipe them with phoenixes and my DTs prevent the enemy from reaching my army :)

just beat it on brutal using exactly this strat. i was going to quit and restart the save at 900~ when at 1600 my left DT wall fell from the 3 overseers i forgot about. but for some reason i stayed just wondering how far i could get.

at around 1600~ MASSIVE waves of zergling start attacking. VERY easy kills if you have photon cannons up in your base. re establish your DT wall you will jump to about 22-2300~ in under a minute from the massive zergling killing spree. if it looks dim at 1700 STAY

Right click the interceptors for auto build. And morph the gateways to warpgates. And use shift build. That is all.

Nicely done, but when was this recorded? I been trying this level and the hybrids are detectors and its a little different. I would use the DTs but they die first because of the hyrids.

@Daleman1992 No, they still don't detect. Watch out for your own ground units getting too close to the DT wall. If an enemy that does AoE damage (say an Ultralisk) attacks them they'll damage the DTs as well. When the void ray hero shows up for example if you don't pull the zealots back they'll charge right at your wall and get your DTs killed.

@phil4387 Ya, I got confused with the hybrids being detectors because the hybrid(s) in the missions before this one, were able to detect cloaked units. I guess its because it was a special unit.

This is a good strategy. I didn't go for the wall, but I bet if I did I would have gotten an extra 250 kills or more.
