Love natural hair! I am caucasian and adore African-heritage hairstyles, I try them on my girls but it will never have the same effect, as our hair is so much thinner. Won't stop my trying, though! Go, natural ladies - your hair rocks!

I'm surprised that I didnt see any other comments regarding this, but, I thought that the point was to teach the new generation to love their natural hair regardless of length. Yes the goal is to grow, but I think that for our young ones, we shouldnt put too much emphasis on the length because then it will cause that that separation that we see all the time. "Well my hair is long and pretty while your hair is short and ugly. "

@MsCoCoP except for the henna and the cayenne scalp treatment, i use the same products i use on mine...you can see a product listing on my blog. just go to the search box on the sidebar and type in "hair products i use" with the quotes and it should be the first or second post in your search results.

Let me state that I STILL don't fully understand what Long Hair Don't Care mean. I've noticed that you and another woman use that as your YT name. When asking random people in beauty stores and searching the net, most people state that it refers to pubic hair. I've noticed that some marketing agents are trying to alter/encourage a clean definition (t-shirts + hair products). I am wondering what your thoughts are on it. Also chicks are the ONLY ones that think of head hair. What's UR thought

im 15 and i've been natural for about a year now, and i am so proud of all of these wonderful black mothers who are taking care of their children's hair, teaching them to love and accept the "real" them. Too many generations have gone by without this sort of acceptance. My daughters are going to be natural as well. <3 Keep up the good work!
