It means the amount of IPDs that can actually participate in Replekia, assuming you're seeing the same thing I'm thinking of (haven't seen the vid). But yeah, it constitutes a major Burst gauge increase (though for best effects you have to hold Replekia and the song for a while).

There aren't. She's just using her Shadow Mir form in a Song. It's kind of like how Shurelia could use another Shadow Mir form back in the first game.

It's more like subdueing them so he can heal them, and once they're healed and such, you can get skills for them (such as "Super Guard") that he mentioned.
