I went to an all-girl high school and only two of them had seen Star Wars. Nobody else was interested in giving it a chance. I mentioned the love story and some of them said changed their minds but I don't think they ever actually ended up watching it lol. So sad. :(

@19JakeB91 Yes but if Anakin hadn't tried so hard to save Padme he would not of joined the Emperor/Palpatine he only joined the Emperor/Palpatine to save Padme but instead caused her to die see she died because she did not want to live without anakin so she gave up on life there are a number of outcomes if anakin had not had the vision if Obi-Wan had not been on the ship and E.T.C....

In the irony of all ironies, Anakin became evil because of his irrevocable love for Padme. It's so tragic that the only thing he's ever loved was the catalyst to the destruction of them both. But I like to think that after his death he was reunited with Padme in the netherworld of the Force. I wonder what they would have said to each other after all that time...?

But I agree that they should live longer. Three years is such a short time. And when both of them were at the other side of the galaxy most of the time.
