En realidad lo que me da mas pena es que gente de Chile y de Mexico venga a decir cosas si ninguno de los que habla aca es veterano, por ejemplo. Yo tuve el placer de hablar con veteranos. Los argentinos fueron educados desde la década del 30 en adelante creyéndose europeos y mejores a otros pueblos latinoamericanos, eso les generó una lamentable soberbia que la historia se encargo de ablandar en 1982 y que los sucesivos desastres económicos teminaron por quebrar.

The Falklands never belonged to Argentina, the British claimed the Islands in 1690 when they were uninhabited and started a colony in 1765.
The Spanish claimed them in 1767 which Britain never recognised so Argentina did not have any right to claim sovereignty on its independence from Spain and appoint a governor. Britain had every right to reassert authority in 1833.
The islanders are now 9 generations and have the right of self determination and they wish to remain with Britain.

I said it was a consequence of defeat that the Junta lost its last chance to stay in power, I didn't say that was why we went to war.
We fought to reverse an act of war against Britain and liberate the Falklands. Once we were at war we had to accept that help from Chile was the lesser of two evils in that the help Chile gave saved British lives so it was our duty to accept that help.

Yes the military government was falling under its own weight as you say however that is why they ordered the invasion of the Falklands.
If they had been successful then they would have remained in power for several years not till October 83 so how many more would have disappeared in the extra years more than 649!
Also if they had been successful they may have tried the same again against Chile how many would have died then.
We didn't fight to remove the Junta but that was a consequence.

It cost so many lives for both countries. The loss of a son is a tragedy for a family and is the same in both countries. Both Argentine and British casualties were victims of the Junta.

Estas mal, los familiares britanicos lloran a sus soldados como nosotros a los nuestros... Es la puta de Tacher la que deberia morir lentamente, no su pueblo, ellos tampoco eligieron que galtiery invadiera Malvinas, asi como nosotros no habiamos elegido estar bajo dictadura...

Es el mejor video que vi en Internet... el unico video que me emociono realmente... buen trabajo es una lastima que se allan perdido vidas de jovenes argentinos, ingleses gente de Nepal que el los Royal Marines utilizaban para la guerra y luego les daban la espalda.
