@hutningnola Galil isn't a bad weapon, it's reliable, simple and quite accurate, the only drawback is, that it's a bit heavy. Estonian Defence Forces have many far more important capabilities to develop, so the infantry assault rifles aren't our main concern at the moment. Besides there is a lot of talk about how Americans aren't satisfied with the 5.56mm round and want to move to a new caliber (6.5mm or 6.8mm). Maybe you as an American (soldier perhaps) could shed some light.

The Estonian camo uniforms seem to work better than the US Army's current ACU. Fortunately, US troops in A-stan will get a new pattern. The Estonians, Danes, Germans and others all have better camo than the US Army.

The Estonian army is great just have a look of all the pics.Every single one they are in the correct formation and positions,this will keep you alive.Just look at the distance when they are in colum formation its not to far nor to close

i spent 2 months with the Estonian Infantry Company on Herrick 6 on OMLT and i was proud to serve with them. The Company Commander was as good as any British Sandhurst educated Major and they fought as bravely as any other unit on the ground. Plus their medics were blonde and stunning. Much nicer than ours. My Mortar section plus the Viking Troop of Royal Marines ferrying us about were made to feel most welcome and looked after.

The Estonian Defence Force use over 60 APC. Finnish Sisu produced Pasi XA180 EST. And we are lucky to have them, for example - in Afganistan we had few times antitank mine blasts. And we lost a wheel. No casualities, not even abrasions, just some small concussions. And technicians restored APC in week. But it isnt that lucky all the time. Danish brand new Leopard 2A6 with (SAAB Barracuda camos - fancy ones) lost their tank and driver with similar antitank mine.
