Little Vitor's reaction was so sweet, so heartfelt and his idol, Leonardo, was obviously touched by it. It brought a tear to my eye too. Even though I don't speak Portuguese I found the child's voice to be very nice, he obviously has a lot of talent.

Hi @guilhermeaosilva, just to clarify a little. Leonardo (the boy's hero) and his brother (Leandro) were very famous and sang together. His brother Leandro had a very aggressive type of lung cancer that killed him in a few weeks. While Leandro was still in hospital, his brother Leonardo performed alone, but always expressing his best wishes for his brother's quick recovery, but eventually Leandro died. This was a very sad day and the whole country (Brazil) stopped to follow his funerals on TV.

He and his brother LEANDRO started singing whe they were children, they were very poor and singing was the only way they found to get some money and help their family. Sold million copies, made a lot of shows, even in europe, japan. But unfortunately Leandro died of cancer in 1998. Leonardo is on his own way now but i'm sure Leandro is looking down for him.

The dream came true as a big surprise cause he never expected. God I'm brazilian and it made me cry like a baby. Brazilians are really good people.

I don't think Leonardo was expecting the boy's reaction. He looked a bit uncomfortable at first, but he did handle it very well. The boy is a real trooper! It must have been very hard to regain his composure, but he did. I think he sang better after the surprise. It's like he sang with more emotion. He is quite talented and I love his confidence.

By the way, this video moved me to tears... over and over again. It's a real treat to watch. Thanks for posting it!

The name of the boy and the idol is Vitor Leonardo is his and he is singing in Portuguese a great success of double Leandro and Leonardo. Leandro (now deceased) was the brother of Leonardo, Leonardo is now the solo career.

@ProFriend Actually, is just Leonardo. He had a folk group with his brother, Leandro, which died from cancer some time ago (a couple of years now). I really not a big fan of him as a singer (don't like his voice very much), but he is very charismatic and simpathetic person.
