I went to see Impaled live and they were great. Loudest concert I have ever been to. If you can't hear for 3 days it was a great concert. Also Ross Sewage is cool as fuck. I met him at the concert.

I mean, of course. They're brutal death metal, but on The Dead Shall Dead Remain, there are little melodic bits as well. So, it's really hard to say what genre to classify them as.

The Last Gasp is very...mid-tempo. Like, it has some very thrashy riffs, but it still fucking rules. But yeah, I think that The Dead Shall Dead Remain and Mondo Medicale are their finest works of art.
