  • Perhaps this is where all the old trains go at the end of their lives. They could run around the fields and play with their old friends instead of being cut up for scrap....

  • Theres a 35 mph speed limit by that farm as theres a Weak Bridge over the Farm road.

  • is this in the Travel Card Zones

  • yes!

  • i see it evryday it's not that great.. lol

  • I did notice once that Edware road station on the circle / hammersith and city line has its own little garden.

  • ......

  • oh how cool is this .

  • The scenery looks very similar to the sections between Buckhurst Hill - Loughton and Theydon Bois - Epping.

  • Nice!

  • The decommissioned Epping - Ongar section. That was sweet. The station at Blake Hall was the least yused on the system when it clsoed in the 80s. It was surroudned by fields.

The further reaches of the Metropolitan are also famously bucolic, despite the long-gone Outer Limts like Quainton Road.

  • I've wondered what is the purpose of calling it the "Underground" or "Tube" when the majority of the system is not even underground.

  • "Tube" originates from how the tunnels on the deep lines (scuh as the Northern line) are shaped like tubes.

  • Nice vid!!
