How heavy was the Jag35 compared to Zacuto and Red Rock? Also how sturdy was the tripod mount as it looks somewhat flimsy for what could be a pretty substantial rig in weight when loaded up?

Hey man thanks for this! I bought the D|focus but I think I am going to send it back. I am a photog gone video and I hope to shoot a documentary June so I got the D|focus thinking a follow focus was a must have, but if I am going to be the only one shooting in the field then is it really necessary ? Curious what your thoughts are? In your experience do you tend to get steadier shots when using the follow focus? thanks
@MiffyProductions No risers for the follow focus. However, I am planing on adding a quick release plate to the base plate, and may need to purchase one to accommodate.

Do you think that a flip out lcd, like on the t3i, could "replace" the LCD on this rig? Or do you really just have to go with the full shoulder rig?
