Actually T rex would be more like kimbo slice and spino would be brock lesnar, cuz t rex may have been smaller, it's bite is probably the most fatal and powerful bite ever to be felt from a creature in the animal kingdom, Rex brought down huge dinosaurs with it's bite, while spino was a good predator in its own right, he mostly ate fish and medium size dinos at best, accurately, Rex would have ripped spino a new one
Making sequels indeed is moot if they can't make the stories work as well as the first movie did. Both The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3 suffer greatly in story quality because they ignore what really made the first work better and that wasn't really the effects, all the effects did was perfectly enhance the actual reason. A great story has a great focus. So if all that the new installments give us is padding and empty flattery they'd be better off left unmade. The first is the smartest.
I don't think it's being rebooted, I'm pretty sure it's a continuation. Joe Johnson said that it will take off in a new trilogy, and said there could be a total of 6 films. He said the first three films can be viewed as the first trilogy. He said it's going to be unlike anything you've seen It breaks away from the first three-it's essentially the beginning of the second Jurassic Park trilogy. It's going to be done in a completely different way. Personally, I wouldn't want to see an R rated film.
Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies of all time. It did what very few movies these days have managed to achive; create a belivable fantasy world where all the dinosaurs interact with the cast and look very real. I also love the survival horror aspect as well as the character progression through the events that take place.
It was so much more than just running from dinosaurs. And so a reboot or continuation would need to at least match the level of character deapth the first 3 had.
And now there is going to be a 4th movie.

A new Trilogy ?? Didn't see that coming. To me it still feels too recent for a reboot of some sort, or maybe i'am just feeling the years :)
But non the less it's great to hear that another Jurassic Park movie is on the way !!!
