i know this is something a bit stupid to point out but how much did these people spend on props? obviously they got it from an army surplus store (the soldier uniforms etc) but it all must of cost alot. especially for a non-profit movie. probably goes to show how dedicated some fans are!

@bendle34 I believe the total movie cost was about $10,000. I think most army surplus stores give discounts on old uniforms when you buy in bulk, atleast they do here in the UK. Plus there are plenty of second rate copy uniforms which are dirt cheap, just standard denims with the camo design painted or dyed on, without all the fancy ripstop threading etc that you get with most modern combat dress.

Just read a few comments.... Wow you guys have really gotta calm down with the "I'm right/You're wrong" Argument... Remember this is a non-profit fan made movie so it doesn't matter which elements of the story they choose to use or not use. Point is its actually quite a good film and I really enjoyed it. Congratulations to Hive Division (the makers) for making it so well. Gotta say I really hope you make a part 2 cos I'm just full of intrigue as to how it ends. Metal Gear Forever!

The suit snake wears at the start is that of MGS1. What Snake did here was NOT a HALO jump. He did the same in MGS1, only from a submarine. Otacon was mentioned at the start..... Already impossible, Otacon wasn't born in 1964. Only his father, Huey. Philanthropy was created after MGS1. Check yourself man, you know nothing!.

weee-eell it's not just in mgs, it's in any digital media (except for songs of course, unless you can find a message when you play them backwards or something) it's a secret you can hunt for, for example, on some internet videos, if you click on a certain part at a certain time, you unlock a bonus vid. easter eggs can also be intertextual references, for example, the ape escape plush toy sitting randomly in the basket.

Your half right, it is an english dub but it's originaly Italian. Got you right? Did for me, they also subbed or I think dubed it in Japanes also, so if you like it that way better download it.
