  • Sorry, i have not been prompt reading these comments. But I did finally locate a frosted CD and it is much brighter than the one I made by sanding a CD. I think that is the way to go if you are making one of these. But it is bulky to use, and has a lot of vignetting without some corrective lens. So I just went out and bought the Canon 7D. I think the 7D will kill off all the lens adapter kits.

  • Do u think i can make one for my canon sx1, i have extra lenses, a 35mm camera, filters rings, macro can u please help me out here

  • Hi I want to covert my vibrating DOF adaptor to a rotating ground glass version like yours. Please can you tell me what you did to the clear cd to achieve the correct grain for projection. Thanks. This is a lovely video and you must have some beautiful, watchable movie like footage of your family now.

  • Hi there, thanks for your video. It is straight to the point. Just wanted to share that I ground a clear CD, which gave great results. But then I found a frosted one. Wow. it is very bright indeed. It has some sort of bubbling that act like a million lenses somehow, and when rotating it gives a continuous look. I will post a video with my setup when I polish its appearance.
