  • @leonida135 Actually doing slow it is harder on a bar. Most people use kips though to get around the bar. I can do a slow muscle up on rings no problem, but on the bar, i can't do it without any kip.

  • @Daltonator87 Allot of people will think it's easier on bar though; as it's very easy to `cheat` at them on the bar, and sort of slide over the bar; I can do one of those pseudo muscle ups on a bar; can't even get close to one on rings yet!

  • I've written a tutorial for the muscle up on both the bar and the rings in case anyone's interested. It can be found on my blog (see my channel page, youtube wont let me put a link in the comments).

  • Excellent exercise. It is actually one of the routine works the Olympic Gyms do.

    It is hard and highly effective for the strenght.

    I actually have done gym exercises once but it is not so good to me, since I'm not a powerlifter or something like that. I practice BJJ and assure any practitioner could gain up in every aspect by doing this one. It is also very good to one's appearance and all.
