it feels like its a higher me watching me from a dream state, i do not yet know if the awareness watching me is dreaming or awareness being watched is a dream...

if so is this a dream like reality and the awareness dreaming is in the real reality controlling (watching) the one in this reality, is that why people can predict this realities future event, have deja vu perhaps this life has already happened and were just watching the rerun or going back through this dream like state to learn lessons

Because as we form them, we are actually seeing our own reflection in the new person's eyes. Likewise, The Great Source is seeing its reflection in our awareness....

This question arises for the mind only. The Absolute and Consciousness are one and the same. The following picture may illustrate this perfectly perhaps: The Absolute = the Sun; Consciousness = sun flares rising and falling out of the surface of the Sun. What does it matter than what produces the hum? The hum comes and goes as an arising inside the Consciousness, which Itself also arises and falls in Awareness. (Cont.)

The Consciousness being the earliest arising out of the Absolute is the purest resemblance of the Absolute, the Truth. Anything else if deemed real onto itself, without acknowledging the root cause is false and unreal. But for the one who knows the root cause of everything, all is real and the divine expression of that which we call by name the Absolute Awareness Self.

Alot of times I feel the hum, but there is a sense of a silent engine supporting this hum or consciousness? But sometimes i wonder, is the hum of exsitense that I feel when i close my eyes and just be, the consciousness or is the hum produced as the consciousness makes contact with this instrument called human bieng.

The Absolute, also referred to as Awareness or the Self, is intuited through Consciousness. It can't be known as we know objects of perception like the hum you are experiencing. All depends on this Awareness Self, without which even Consciousness could not exist. The Awareness Absolute does not observe with interest. So far so good, including your observation of a hum. The sense of a silent engine supporting this hum is a construction of mind. Keep quiet. Don't try to understand.

That's because an explanation would just bring you back into your mind. More and more concepts! These will never satisfy you. What Mooji points to the mind cannot understand; therefore an explanation will not do any good. If I gave an explanation, what would observe the explanation? FIND THAT.

There is an implication in the questioning by Mooji, and other Advaitist that there is some kind of mystical origin to the sense of self and all that is. This view may well be true and I kind of hope it is, but perhaps this sense of self has no origin other than a feedback loop within the mind generated by a very mechanistic brain.

From the perspective of either of these models the results of looking for a discrete separate self would give the same result no separate self. It appears to me that there is a leap of faith to decide what the result of no self means, to the mechanistic mindset it reaffirms a non magical non religious cause and effect universe, to the Spiritual mindset it suggests unity or rather nonduality. There is nothing obvious about this at all as far as I can see!

Now a question comes into my mind: - how to "stay" as awareness?...I mean, if we can't possibly DO anything to change anything, then how can we apply an effort to "remain" in awareness?.. Does it mean when we dont "stay" or remember we "stay in it" - it isn't there for us and we get hurt? What can we possibly do in the end?

The obvious is exactly what Mooji always points to. The Watcher und even less the watcher, that whatches the whatcher. Therefore less then nothing in ordner to watch "nothing". Its totaly amazing but totaly obvious and nothing special because its the way things are. There is only the self playing a masquerade. But i don't know why that has to be pointed out so many times. I think thats compassion. "Masters" with compassion are rare. I guess only the tip of the iceberg.
