I have to comment more. Did you see the adoration in Susan's eyes and the acceptance in Elaine's? It's like Elane was telling Susan she would take her under her wing and not in a condescending or superior way/ Such a beautiful video. I could watch this video forever.

Having said that, even though I had never heard of Elaine Paige before discovering Susan, I understand that she is a beloved singing icon in the UK, probably on a par with Patti Page here in the US. I love this video... it is my second favorite of Susan next to the audition video, (and I actually enjoyed the duet, but) because you can tell how much this meant to her/Susan. (continued)
@clnow709 Elaine is obviously the veteran, and when it comes to showmanship, she outshines a bit... but Susan's performances are always touching, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that incredible voice. I especially love the very end of this video, where their foreheads touch; it reminds me of a mother whose child has done well and made her proud, and the child being happy about it. She/Susan wanted to be AS successful as Elaine Paige... At least in MY book, she is.

I know she is a beloved star of long-standing, but personally, I prefer Susan. They sound great together... and this was a brilliant and touching performance on both their parts.
I love this - have it taped on a longer Susan Boyle special. I find myself singing it all the time. At the end, you can really hear how similar they sing.
