Why exactly would you make a template if you already have one?

I only have half and I can't see through it to start with. I can lay out the back braces on one and the the top braces and sound hole location on another and etc.

I buy my plexi from a local plastics supply co. It's like half the price of retail stores. You may have to buy a 4 X 8 sheet but they usually have cut offs that you purchase at a per pound rate.
