I am not here to criticise your opinion pooolfc, but Riera has proved that he is a good buy and a great player. He scored the equaliser against Wigan and was a constant threat throughout the game. He has also regularly toyed defenders along the left wing. Riera is now an integral part of the squad and he deserves to be as he has been one of our better players so far. So, i personally believe you have been very wrong about him.

He's not the top quailty liverpool need, another stop gap. and as for this 442 formation rafa is trying to inforce? i dont understand it at all, liverpool found a settled formation the latter half of the season with Gerrard just behind torres and it worked, then he decides to switch it all about? Madness, Torres plays his best stuff when he plays a lone role with a link man behind him, everyone seen in the Euros that Torres wasnt at it until he played with Cesc behind him.
But moving back to our prefered formation would mean Keane was basically a waste of resources. Rafa is too stuborn to admit he's made a mistake, so I reckon he'll stick with 442 for as long as we can get away with scraping lucky wins and draws.

I am not here to criticise your opinion pooolfc, but Riera has proved that he is a good buy and a great player. He scored the equaliser against Wigan and was a constant threat throughout the game. He has also regularly toyed defenders along the left wing. Riera is now an integral part of the squad and he deserves to be as he has been one of our better players so far. So, i personally believe you have been very wrong about him.

Torres was considered an underachiever in Spain, he made amazing things but nearly always missed his shots, he needed 10 chances to score once. He's a different player at L'pool. Unlike Riera who was very successful after his breakthrough 2 years ago, and he even hasn't shown half of the things he made at Espanyol, he still needs to settle down in the PL and then u'll see his shots & amazing heading

He looks to lack a little bit of definition in front of goal, and a bit of long passing which is more important at what we want him to do, but it's too soon to tell.Maybe playing along a better side will help him.
If he can make an impact with his skills and speed, he'll be a great addition for our attack, but I don't think he'll be my first choice

He's got skill, good in the air, quite fast and can sort of finish. Look it depends how good he is on finding space and can he deal with the pace of the Priemier League. Give him time.
