Beware viewers! While foam sealant does work the well for sealing the gap around window units within their rough openings and restrained use of rigid foam insulation is acceptable, vinyl windows are NOT green. Vinyl window manufacture pollutes the environment with hazardous chemicals. Like vinyl siding, they are cheap but not durable and will end up in the landfill within 20 years to continue to pollute the environment. As with all product claims, buyer beware.
