  • This is the most accurate on the web! There are tabs are read that didn't even have bends in them!

  • You made my job a lot easier. I can tell you are very humble and considerate. Thanks a million.... you are my role model

  • I like how you say that the other versions of his solo are inferior, I totally agree.

  • It is amazing. Really good. Thank you for this terrific lesson. Do you have any tabs. The lesson is really awesome. Thank you.

  • WOWW!!.. I though this wass an impossible solo when i starteed learning guitar 2 years ago.. now i see its basiics contructed.. very useful but in some parts confusing 'cause you didn't explained what to play, you only played it.. so i needed to replay that part like 5 times to get it all perfect.. but anywaay it was an amazing guitar lesson!! i loved whow you played the backing track at the end of the lesson just to let us practicee..

    Keep Teachiing!! :D

  • Great!! check my version =]

  • thanks a lot

  • You look familiar? eric clapton is that you?

  • you explained it in a verry good way! i come from germany but i understand everything. you did a really great job. your video is the best one, if somebody wants to learn the let it be solo, great :D

  • Is this the both solos? Im to lazy to check through the vid...

  • @AndreasHaugen It's the album version solo.

  • You re fantastic man, great lesson! :D

  • As long as your having fun in front of a crowd or video, and keep the solos in the same range, the auidence isn't noticing that it 's wrong. TY

  • You know Hoodrio your putting to much stress on your self. Solo's made by famous artists weren't ment to be perfectly copied, but a solo that would not only be in key but sound good. Just like Eruption, EVH didn't want you to fiqure out the most exact way to play his solo, just make your own improv up too. Also thought the tutorial was perfect sounded great.

  • A very good lesson that teaches on several levels--theory, solo composition, guitar technique, and the artistry of George Harrison. Thanks!

  • good job!

    do you have tab ?

    thanks

  • Thanks for the lesson! Great one! Keep posting!

P.S. Superb view from the window by the way. Where is that?

  • "Also,I feel the key is better described as a major pentatonic (in the key of C). Obviously, the notes are the same, but the root is not and I just feel that your students will become a whole lot smarter about their playing if they understand the difference in sound. I think is worth knowing that if its a blues song written in C, that if all else fails you can usually wank away using C minor pent scale and if its a country song then go for it in C maj pent."

  • A friend who knows a lot more about theory than I do made some great suggestions about this lesson: "I would maybe talk about how closely the solo follows the song melody - a great example of how to construct a simple solo by taking cues from song itself, rather than making up something new. And also, I would tie in the fact that the solo has much in common with country guitar solos." (CONTINUED IN NEXT COMMENT)

  • @Hoodrio hey add me to friends im getting a guitar like next week and i wanna learn it...ca u make tabs thanks

  • Ahhh, thanks again Rev, Right place at the right time for me. The pentatonic scales have been in my guitar library for years but never really "got them", finally clicked when I saw you do it. Seems like I have been focusing on up and down the neck and this is getting me across the neck more. The JM-4 has loops and shows what Key they are in, now with my trusty scale charts I can play them all. Now I just need more time to play.
