This song makeS me thank of my best friend . That dead on march 15 of this year . I miss her like crazy her was like A BIG SISTER to me and. her sons are like big brothers to me . I dedicate this song to connie miller .
Wow, I've always known this song. I used to sing it in church. But I have never heard anything so powerful. PRAISE GOD for that River that never will end.
Gerald wolfe is truly a man of many talents. He can sing all 4 parts and play the piano. He is one of my favorite singers. I do have to say mark trammell is a great baritone, but Rodney Griffin is my favorite when it comes to singing with greater vision. He has written some of southern gospels best songs. It's also nice to see chris allman back with greater vision since being part of the original group.
hello I like to listen to this group.. It is new to me my husband told me about them. he also said he had a friend that use to sing with them called john hunt is this the right group??
This is the original group- and today it is Chris Allman, Rodney and Gerald. I saw them at FanFest and Mark Trammell joined them for one song- it was great to see them all together!
Gospel singers blow away any so called modern "Pop" singer. If these modern day "Chart topper" clowns even had an inch of talent that these guys have it would be something!
this is amazing, i just started listning to greater vision right after i saw them at NQC and they are a great group. Alot of people dont know about the groups L5, greatrvision, Brian Free and many others. People justg usually know about who is on the gaithers. But NQC opend my eyes to see there are alot more great groups out there!
That Is Doug Riley And Mark Fain The Former Gold City Band Playing along With Them And Thats WriterSandi Duncan At The 4:38 Mark Also The Easters And The Nelsons In The Video also
newtz2000 is this from a video entitled" We've come to Worship? if so could you post the song by Michael English from that video? I have tried unsecessfully to find this video We've come to worship. You have a treasure indeed. Thanks for posting
I have a couple more to post from that video: Heirloom - Send Down Your Glory; Barbara Fairchild - Highest Hosanna; Gold City - T'is So Sweet (accapella) and I will post Michael English's version of 'I Bowed On My Knees".I think it's one of my favorite performances of his of that song.
May I add another request from that video? The title song, "We've Come to Worship" is sung by the entire lineup at the very beginning of the video. It is such a beautiful song--could you please post it as well?
Chris Allman was with GV until 1995. 3 albums were made with Him, Gerald, and Rodney. He left the group to spend more time with family and began a solo ministry. He is currently a pastor in Burlington, NC. He also leads the worship there along with his musically talented sister. Some of Chris' work can still be heard as he occasionally does studio work for artists such as the Talleys, Ivan Parker, among others. This was the group that got the Greater Vision ball rolling.
where gerald gets his powerful voice from still amazes me! he is a unique talent, no doubt. and does a pretty good peg mckamey/jerry goff imitation. good to see a great guy do good.
This is a great song, and though I didn't become familiar with Greater Vision until Gerald was singing with Rodney and Jason, I really like this lineup. They've got a really nice sound.
I'll agree Kyle is a FANTASTIC writer, but just because you don't particularly like Rodney's style of writing doesn't qualify them as "awful". That's a pretty strong statement, don't you think?
I'm not trying to weigh in on one side or the other on this, but there aren't too many groups that win lots of awards in their first two years together, even when 2/3rds of them are former Cathedrals...
That being said, I like the current version of Greater Vision an awful lot too.
Not sure who these people are, but thank you for posting, this was good.

Gerald's always been my favorite - he makes me love to hear Southern Gospel music, which no other artist has ever been able to do.

he must be in great physical shape to render such a lenghty hold on the notes.

Looks like bass singer Tim Riley (behind wearing glasses) great bass. I wish the B-3 Hammond organ was playing here.
Sounds good anyway.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Rodney Griffin's songs are awful. Quantity does not equal quality. I'll take a Kyla Rowland song over his any day of the year.

the last album was 'the king came down' but they didn't win fav lead, tenor , bar, with current line up. great songs just not the best vocals.
thrashman1973 3 years ago
Rodney's songs must put you under conviction, or you're a wanna-be songwriter yourself.

That's silly.
