  • The most exciting Alaskan ski video ever made...

  • @FecalLover You'd know what that sounds like. =D

  • wow, i could do what he is doing, and i have only been skiing for like two years, this video sucks, but in all fairness this is decades old, skiing has advance an incredible amount since then

  • If the camera were not tilted, and he was at the angle he is, he would simply fall down. Annoying music, and dull video... a guy doing a hundred hops on a steep slope. Give me a snowboarder any time.

  • He was one of the first to try this.. but he was also limited by the quality of his equipement...

Today Kids can do much better! Let's say they do the same with a backflip!

I schould know... I skied down very steep slopes back in the 80'S.. and Today... I'm just an old fart! lol

  • ha, all you people who say the camera is turned are stupid, and probably have never skiied in their life

  • almost a fucking wall hes skiing on man never seen anything like this and i have been some crazy places..

  • u think thats real snow or man made snow up there?

  • everyone needs to realize that the SNOW CONDITIONS he is skiing on are probably some of the worst with that degree of slope...it's not like he is carving some uber pow

  • shane mcconkey would own this guy look at his skii videos

  • this is stupid, the camera's turned, the slopes not ven steep... bollocks!

  • dudee you can see it on how he is skiing,, its fcking steep there

  • dude its not steep. its the camera. if it was that steep and he was leaning out like that he would just fall....

  • ennoying music.

  • thats old films, today now that snowboards and skis are much more advance, you got people going down slopes like that on full speed

  • my father skied with this guy so I know that what he does is still the most extreme of its kind. He's gone down slopes with an angle of 63 degrees, that is still a world record. If somoene skied that full speed they would most definitely die.

  • i would love to see you guys try this lol

  • Ton pousti!

  • it looks steep, but it isn't real extreme skiing

  • Camera is turn...this is not extrem...not amazing...Every normal freeskier can doit better

  • How many of you have ever been skiing above the clouds? Second, if U didn't notice, this is an old video, back when people skied on skis much longer than those typically used today. This guy looks to be jumping and swinging some pretty long old-school skis back and forth. Remember, they were also much heavier back in the 70's and 80's compared to what is used today. EPIRBs and GPS also weren't available back then either, so going on a run like this had far greater chances of going south on you.

  • it s not amazing if he isnt fast!! its difficult but not amazing-.....este tio no es extremo... esto no es extremo bah

  • id be going fast

but now i c y hes going slow

how did he evn get camera people up threre

  • helicopter

  • wow that pretty high, he should be going slow

  • juhtuhb1 is correct. 75 degrees is impossible. Snow will not even stick to a pitch much above 60 degrees. Realistically, the angle is probably between 55 & 60 degrees....still amazing

  • lets get a little slower maybe the turte will beat you down

  • "The angel is 75 degrees", sounds like some divine creature is hypothermic. If you mean 75 degrees incline, this is impossible. I've climbed and ice-climbed for 2 decades and you can't ski 75 degrees for long stretches. The camera is held askew, it looks like good old Sylvain Saudon has magical powers - old trick to steepen up less steep slopes/walls on camera. That doesn't mean that Sylvain is one of the most talented and fearless extreme skiers in history.

  • this guy is moving slow as beans.\

  • Your funny. Can you even imagine how steep the slope is hes skiing?

  • the angel is actually 75 degrees

  • helicopters probably, does anyone know the angle of that slope? looks about 70 degrees!!!

  • whos filming this
