I've also seen some photos from one of the Sydney concerts. She looked awesome, as always. I've heard the audio of "Happy House" from one of those concerts. Before the band start playing, Siouxsie says: "You got your Mickey Mouse ears on?"
@Mr13595Stephen oh you make me feel old telling me it was your parents that saw them :) to be honest....i can't remember specifics only that i really enjoyed myself and it was exactly the concert that i thought it would be. i recall we got very dressed up (or so we thought; we were V young) and the audience was 'colourful' - lots of punks etc. :) I always remember my friends saying to me that it would be easier being a punk in the UK as Australia's weather is too hot to be real punk
Pair of wankers. You can see the nervous look on her face as he asked about her dad. What.. afraid of being seen as an average suburban fuggin nobody? He feeds her the no money in rock music line to break the ice but being the twat she is she keeps on with the smart ass distant act. Steve is a dilitant wanna be which is funny. They both started out in punk 10 years before this now there every thing they used to put shit on. Wouldnt piss on them if they were on fire.Screw sycophantic ass lickers.
@euqsabtnatillim stupid idiot.if you think siouxsie and steve are a 'pair of wankers' why are you watching this?fuck off and watch something you actually like
@riotpixiegrrrl why dont YOU fuck off this comments forum.Im entitled to express any opinion I like. I saw this interview when it was FIRST made.Im not a revivalist punk little girl I was here when it really happened. Punk was never about licking ass and being a fan. Go ask Siouxi you plastic post punk wannabe. You would have to be pushing fifty to even have the right to an opinion. What did it make you feel good sticking up for the band? Like they need a gobshite like you to defend them.Sod off
@euqsabtnatillim ahaha you're all for expressing an opinion but i cant because im not 'over 50'?get over yourself.you dont know me,or even how old i am so who are you to say shit?oh wait i forgot - you were here when it happened.well so was i dickfuck.

@Daka12s Actually, she is a little. I never noticed it until a friend (and fellow fan) pointed it out. Look for the Make Up to Break Up video. You can see it.
i was at that concert the night before this interview ,a great concert then next morning i saw this on donnies sat morning show sounds.what a pair of wankers, who did they think they were, are they still around or dead.dead i hope
How absolutely akward! I kinda feel like Siouxsie, I rather loath talking. It's quite overrated, and most musicians just like to make music but don't like to explain everything constantly. Which would make it hard for an interviewer... How I miss Sounds!... Was such a fantastic music program!!! I can't believe Channel 7 have destroyed most episodes, that is so dis-respectful of them!!!!
Thank you so much for putting this interview on. I am currently running Donnie Sutherland's YouTube channel titled 'welovedonnie'. I'm glad this interview has surived - I will add it to my favourites and let Donnie know it's up on youtube.
Donnie had mentioned that this (and the Iggy Pop interview he did around the same period) were the toughest interviews he ever did in his career on television.
Dammit right as they're about to talk about Uncle Bob the sound cuts out. LAME.

My parents saw them at the Captiol Theatre in February 1983 as well. Some audio from one of those Sydney concerts is actually on YouTube.
Anything you remember from the concert?
