I know, i consider myself to be more of a thrasher, but i enjoy all kinds of metal, and God Hates Us All isnt really nu metal and Diabolus in Musica isnt groove metal as well, although i do like groove metal, for me as long as it has the Slayer feeling in it its good

that being said, they're still a great band

Some of these people may take the lyrics too seriously but myself and many others just appreciate good hard driving music that lets us get out our anger in song rather than KILLING our boss, parent, or other authority figure.
