On You Tube do a search for Keith Carmichael/Faithfully and give it a listen. It was recorded in the studio on 12-01-2010 in Florida. Keith recorded the song for his wife as an anniversary present. He does a pretty fair imitation, hitting high notes, but he lacks the range--the movement from low to high notes--and the pure, raw sexiness of Steve Perry. Close your eyes, and listen to them sing back to back. There never will be another Steve Perry.

On You Tube do a search for Keith Carmichael/Faithfully and give it a listen. It was recorded in the studio on 12-01-2010 in Florida. Keith recorded the song for his wife as an anniversary present. I can't believe I lived long enough to see a first Asian to break through and perform with a World Class band like Journey. Arnel you are a phenomena. As a 60's rocker myself jamming with Manila's old rockers, your'e the best of the best . How you hit those high notes simply amazes me. You are Journey's lucky find .. thanks to You Tube. He does a pretty fair imitation, hitting high notes, but he lacks the range--the movement from low to high notes--and the pure, raw sexiness of Steve Perry. Close your eyes, and listen to them sing back to back. There never will be another Steve Perry.

This rendition is horrible compared to Steve Perry - there is NO comparison. in fact, my rendition is better - my voice doesn't rattle on the high notes! Arnel is terrible, face it.

Love this guy and so do most fans. His ability and energy helped refuel one of the best rock bands ever. DMW53184 hey dude, you're intitled to your opinion, but I would rather have Journey still alive and sounding so good and touring, than a band one remembered from way back when most of us were much younger. This way meant to be regardless of what you think. Solution- don't listen to him if it bothers you that much. Thanks Arnel for keeping Journey alive 30 years latter.

I've confirmed that @NoSteveNoJourney is just a kid. His age is 10 years old. His dad was a confirmed fans of Steve Perry but was sad coz SP was taken over by Arnel Pineda. @NoSteveNoJourney live in Philippines right now. Don't blame Arnel Pineda being placed as the new lead singer to Steve Perry. Arnel is just doing his part for the band. The songs that Steve Perry sang long ago is NEVER his alone but also from the BAND. The Journey band needs Arnel Pineda to keep the melody on fire. If you love the Journey band you should respect that and keep from complaining and comparing them... A Journey fan knows that. Instead give thanks to him for giving the band a new life.. imagine Journey without a singer eh?
