I am a homosexual. I am a Christian. I LOVE GOD. I LOVE JESUS. I ACCEPT JESUS AS MY ONE AND ONLY LORD & SAVIOUR. I've prayed for ridance of my homosexuality. I did not choose this. Trust me. Do not argue this point, especially when you are NOT a homosexual yourself and you know not of what it's like to feel you're going to hell, although you're a Christian, simply because of your sexual orientation, even though you can't control it.

Comparing MUSLIMS and HOMOSEXUALS? It's not even near being a liable comparison. I am a homosexual. I can guarantee you, I did NOT choose to be this way. I am a true Christian. I pray, go to church, worship the Lord, I even write songs dedicated to Jesus Christ. I am being raised in a very conservative family and am a republican myself. But I can rest assured knowing that The Lord will NOT damn me to hell for being gay, when I have repented and wish to be free. Remember when blacks were hated?

Im confused,in my opinion we really need to stop pointing fingers,at each other!even if someone is gay or is in sin its not our job to judge them,we are to still love them as christ loves us,we all fall short daily.we dont have to love there sin but we should still pray for them,some christians act as if they them selves have no sin even after being saved that simply is not true! TD Jakes, along with many like Joel Osteen, has been softening their message to "massage" a sleepy congregation. Jesus is the only way to God; he is the light of the world. Comparing living a homosexual life and cheating on taxes is a cop-out...take a stand TD Jakes. Muslims are not saved if they do not confess Jesus is the only son of god, that he died for our sins, rose again. If they do that, they cant be muslims...there is no Alah, only God, his son Christ Jesus, and his Holy Spirit.
Those with the knowledge of the Gospel are held accountable, those who never heard the Gospel are judged based on what they know to be right for the law of God is written on their hearts. I think they failed to address what happens to those that never heard the Gospel.

@J34Contenders Yes, Baptism is a work but what the scripture saying is that we are not saved by our own works. Evidence of this is in the very next verse in (Eph 2:10) where Paul tells us to walk in the goods works of God, which would definitely include Baptism, (Matt 3:13-17). Without Baptism we are not buried with Christ (Ro 6:4) which is necessary for the washing away of sins( Act 22:12-16) which Paul himself had to do before he could be a witness of God.

@MustaffaCuppa I would see no other reason why these men would just avoid it, Christians are actually commanded to stand up to false doctrine and people that lead others to it(False prophets & teachers), this also helps people learn that everyone has the right to go to heaven and that no one is excluded. Some still think only Jews are going to be saved, or if your in another faith you can't leave it and become saved or that Christianity is some "Western" thing or such.
@MustaffaCuppa There was a debate on youtube I watched about Jews and gentiles, can gentiles be saved. I mean really now, and it was recent. The bible clearly says the man or women who is a Jew is no different then another man if they are both saved men and women, there is even scripture that stated back in those times if a man wanted to worship God and came with the Jews to do so, let him do so, but teach him the proper way to worship and understand.This was relevant before Jesus was born.

Good video guys! God is very clear on the topic of salvation when he states "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (through Jesus)". @tricey2300 Read Romans chapter 2, and you'll see why T.D. Jakes said what he said. Everyone doesn't know about Christianity, in fact 2 billion people have never heard the name Jesus Christ. Yes, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no man cometh unto the Father but by him, but that does NOT imply that only Christians go to heaven. You are judged by what you know. Those who know about Jesus (regardless of their religion) will be judged differently than those who don't know about Him.

@tricey2300 Yes, Jesus is the only way to salvation, but Jesus watches everyone on earth, and there are others who have never even heard of Him who deserve to go to heaven because of their works. I'm not making that up, that's the Word. "For as many have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law. (For no the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.)" -Romans 2: 12.
@avissony You've not read the Word enough to understand it. It does indeed say what you quoted, but it also says, "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified" Rom 3:20.
You don't understand the work of the Law. Read Gal 3:19-29 This understanding is critical. Multitudes of "Christians" don't understand it. The Law's purpose was for the Scripture to shut up all under sin that God might show mercy to all through faith in Jesus.

But we do know this and the Scriptures I gave you, if you'll meditate on them, should be sufficient to convince you that God arranged EVERYTHING before the world was even created. He's accounted for and answered every scheme and lie of the devil and dealt with every detail necessary so that there are no relevant issues left unresolved. The Hebrew word for "meditate" is H1897. Find all the uses of H1897 in the OT and think on each one. One of the premier ways to understand a word is to look at all its uses in the Bible and consider them carefully. That's an aspect of meditation and you'll get a good idea of it by looking up all the references to it in the OT.
@avissony If you don't have a computer Bible, e-Sword is free and if you choose to use it, the BEST aid that goes with it (IMO) is the King James Concordance (also free). This is not Strong's but an extra add-on. It has many errors (there are ways to get around that) but its value far exceeds its weakness. I highly recommend it, especially as a free resource. If you're able, I'd encourage you to get a late version 7 or 8 (for the non-updated support) but this will be contrary to the author.
You must bear in mind the value of faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. That is worthy of much meditation and the lack of understanding that verse is the cause of so much malignity.
Holy Spirit directed meditation must be done in/by faith. By exercising faith, you get God involved with your meditation and the Holy Spirit directs your thoughts and gives you wisdom, insight and understanding the labor-less way. Matt 11:25-30.
@avissony That's not what Jesus said. Jesus said, "No man can come to me except the Father who sent me draw him." According to Jesus, it's the work of God, not anyone's "open mind."
Jesus said in John 8:31-32, "If you abide in My Word, then you are truly My disciples and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." The more you meditate on that verse and the rest of God's Word, the more you'll see that your "open mind" is what leads you astray and the Word is what gives life.

Paul spent much time on this issue and the whole book of Galatians and several chapters in Romans are on this subject. You are simply wrong and the teaching of Paul is clear on this subject. You're just using your own understanding (Prov3:5) to reject the true teaching of the Word.

@avissony Did you read and meditate on them? Remember that meditation on the Word is the key to revelation. It's the greatest tool you have.
I used them because they reveal the purpose of the Law and explain Gal 3:22: "But the Scripture has shut up all men under sin," showing you that NO ONE gets cleansing without His blood. Jesus' passion was too great a price to pay for God to disavow His sacrifice. The other Scriptures I gave elaborate on God's choice of grace and placement of men in time.
@avissony You need to understand that rejecting the truth of the Word is your natural inclination (1Cor 2:14) It's not something you do after you read the Bible; it's something you did before. This is why meditation is so important; the lies need to be washed away.
Run water over your dirty hands. How clean do they get? But run water over them for an extended period and they will come clean. Water is the most effective cleaner in the world. Even that little typology is a detail God addressed.
@avissony I am NOT one who agrees with the preacher bashing that is so prevalent on YT but these men addressed the issues reasonably and accurately and didn't use this opportunity to attack Jakes. They called him no names and they represented the Scriptures accurately. You, on the other hand compromised the Word to justify Jakes. While it's right to love and give people the benefit of the doubt, it's wrong to have greater loyalty to men than to the Word of God. Saying Jakes punted was gracious.

@avissony Look up the Scriptures I just gave you in my last post and meditate on them until you see how they fit together. They should give you a greater respect and understanding of the wisdom, care, power and justice of God. The more one believes the Word, the more one sees that God is ALWAYS right. Finding fault with the plain simple teachings of God's Word is always based on ignorance and/or unbelief. Jesus IS the only way and God is still JUST and LOVING.

@avissony It's important to rightly divide the Word. Having mercy, overlooking sin and not holding people accountable for their sins DOESN'T mean approval. You should be able to see that from Jesus' words, "All sins and blasphemies shall be forgiven the sons of men." If forgiveness meant approval, that would mean God approves all sin. That's ludicrous. Actually you guys are right; although it may be hard how such a dynamic preacher such as T.D Jakes could be so wrong on such fundamental matters, at the end of the day, the "Word of God" should always take precedence over the "words of men". It doesn't matter if people don't know who these brothers in Christ are, they used relevant points from the Word of God that debunked T.D. Jakes false statements, therefore they are right. Of a different fold does not refer to different religious faiths.

T.D.Jakes is one of the few men of God who actually knows God in his heart. Most of them are about putting on a show and convincing themselves that they and their flock are the only people God loves. TD Jakes, along with many like Joel Osteen, has been softening their message to "massage" a sleepy congregation. Jesus is the only way to God; he is the light of the world. Comparing living a homosexual life and cheating on taxes is a cop-out...take a stand TD Jakes. Baptism is a work, and works can not save us, they only show that we are saved. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward reality. Please Read Acts 10:44-48, the context will show you that the Gentiles were saved before they were ever baptized.... Baptism is not essential for salvation... Thank God for his grace and mercy!

@J34Contenders Yes, Baptism is a work but what the scripture saying is that we are not saved by our own works. Evidence of this is in the very next verse in (Eph 2:10) where Paul tells us to walk in the goods works of God, which would definitely include Baptism, (Matt 3:13-17). Without Baptism we are not buried with Christ (Ro 6:4) which is necessary for the washing away of sins( Act 22:12-16) which Paul himself had to do before he could be a witness of God.

Of course nobody’s to judge a person's heart! But those of us who are saved ARE supposed to inform un-saved people (including other faiths) that Jesus died for them - & why – that they need to respond, & how, so they can get saved too.

@MustaffaCuppa I would see no other reason why these men would just avoid it, Christians are actually commanded to stand up to false doctrine and people that lead others to it(False prophets & teachers), this also helps people learn that everyone has the right to go to heaven and that no one is excluded. Some still think only Jews are going to be saved, or if your in another faith you can't leave it and become saved or that Christianity is some "Western" thing or such.

The bible clearly says the man or women who is a Jew is no different then another man if they are both saved men and women, there is even scripture that stated back in those times if a man wanted to worship God and came with the Jews to do so, let him do so, but teach him the proper way to worship and understand.This was relevant before Jesus was born.

Good video guys! God is very clear on the topic of salvation when he states "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (through Jesus)". Why didn’t TD just tell her that? He must have thought that she was not worth going to heaven. Just another Joel Osteen wanna be preaching to people with itchy ears and trying not to offend anyone. You don't understand the work of the Law. Read Gal 3:19-29 This understanding is critical. Multitudes of "Christians" don't understand it. The Law's purpose was for the Scripture to shut up all under sin that God might show mercy to all through faith in Jesus.

@avissony The Bible NOWHERE says to memorize it. Memorizing is carnal and doesn't get it in your spirit where it needs to be. Many evil men know many Bible verses.
The Hebrew word for "meditate" is H1897. Find all the uses of H1897 in the OT and think on each one. One of the premier ways to understand a word is to look at all its uses in the Bible and consider them carefully. That's an aspect of meditation and you'll get a good idea of it by looking up all the references to it in the OT.

@avissony If you don't have a computer Bible, e-Sword is free and if you choose to use it, the BEST aid that goes with it (IMO) is the King James Concordance (also free). This is not Strong's but an extra add-on. It has many errors (there are ways to get around that) but its value far exceeds its weakness. I highly recommend it, especially as a free resource. If you're able, I'd encourage you to get a late version 7 or 8 (for the non-updated support) but this will be contrary to the author.

@avissony That's not what Jesus said. Jesus said, "No man can come to me except the Father who sent me draw him." According to Jesus, it's the work of God, not anyone's "open mind."
Jesus said in John 8:31-32, "If you abide in My Word, then you are truly My disciples and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." The more you meditate on that verse and the rest of God's Word, the more you'll see that your "open mind" is what leads you astray and the Word is what gives life.

I used them because they reveal the purpose of the Law and explain Gal 3:22: "But the Scripture has shut up all men under sin," showing you that NO ONE gets cleansing without His blood. Jesus' passion was too great a price to pay for God to disavow His sacrifice. The other Scriptures I gave elaborate on God's choice of grace and placement of men in time.

They called him no names and they represented the Scriptures accurately. You, on the other hand compromised the Word to justify Jakes. @avissony It's important to rightly divide the Word. Having mercy, overlooking sin and not holding people accountable for their sins DOESN'T mean approval. You should be able to see that from Jesus' words, "All sins and blasphemies shall be forgiven the sons of men." If forgiveness meant approval, that would mean God approves all sin. That's ludicrous. God forgives because He's loving, kind and merciful and He's called us to be the same way.

Actually you guys are right; although it may be hard how such a dynamic preacher such as T.D Jakes could be so wrong on such fundamental matters, at the end of the day, the "Word of God" should always take precedence over the "words of men". The Bible is a big book and you have all the time you need. Go read it and ask God, "What were Your messages and the apostles messages when you all preached? You WON'T find "Heaven" is the answer.

T.D.Jakes is one of the few men of God who actually knows God in his heart. Most of them are about putting on a show and convincing themselves that they and their flock are the only people God loves. This is their egos. Their need to feel like they are somehow above everyone else. At least he leaves the judgement up to God.

WOW!! He's not condeming any group of people???As if you cant separate sin from a person.. The bible says very clearly the wages of sin is DEATH. Paul calls us to live Holy as God is Holy! Christ himself says if you love me keep my commandments.Christ in Luke refers to the distruction of Sodom 17.29 and its clear why Sodom was distroyed! Beyond that their is a clear difference between sin and blasphomy when you call wrong - RIGHT.. Romans talks about how Christ will turn you over.

@Christians4Christ101 Jesus was sent to the lost sheep of Israel; but we as His children are sent throughout the whole world to the Gentiles. Read Acts 13:44-48, along with Matthew 28:18-20. Read what Jesus said in John 10:16, and especially Romans 1:16. Jesus died for the whole world, not just the Jews.
